recall を使った英語例文

 

I can't recall what happened last night.

(昨夜何があったのか思い出せない。）

 

　前回は If I recall correctly の例文を見ていきました。

　今日はその recall の 

「思い出す・思い起こす（記憶を呼び起こす）」という動詞の、よく見る使い方を書いていきたいと思います。

  ○remember よりもフォーマルなイメージです。

　 recall + 名詞 (の働きをするもの)

recall 名詞

I can recall all the top of 10 popular songs of that time.   

（当時の人気曲ベスト10は全て思い出すことができる。）

Animals can recall watering holes.   

（動物たちは水場を思い出すことができる。）
